Hillary Clinton’s campaign is worried about Donald Trump’s Second Amendment comment on Tuesday — but not worried enough to not make a little money off of it.
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” Trump said during a North Carolina rally on Tuesday, NBC reports.

“By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”
Clinton’s campaign seized on the claim, implying Trump threatened Hillary and suggested a “Second Amendment person” harm their candidate.
“This is simple — what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way,” spooked campaign manager Robby Mook said, according to CNBC.
They didn’t stop there.
They also sought donations after the remark.

“This is not normal or acceptable talk from a presidential candidate,” communications aide Christina Reynolds wrote.
“Say you oppose Donald Trump and the politics he stands for — chip in $1 right now and let’s stop him,” she concluded.
Trump later clarified his remarks, tweeting, “Media is desperate to distract from Clinton’s anti-2A stance. I said pro-2A citizens must organize and get out vote to save our Constitution!”
